Chart notes
MONTEREY PENINSULA broke in full stride to set all the pace, widened into the stretch under left handed urging and won under strong handling. SEEING RED chased the winner and was no match while clearly second best. SAHM TEQUILA stalked the pace along the inside and went evenly. CANDY CRUSHEM failed to menace. STAY THIRSTY AMIGO had good early speed then faded. SMALL SAILOR was no threat. GILLIGAN had good early speed between horses two wide, took back and shifted three wide nearing the half mile marker then dropped out of it. SIR hopped at the start and was no factor.
