Chart notes
DONEGAL MOONSHINE settled well off the pace and three to four wide early, launched a bid with about three furlongs to run came four wide into the stretch and produced a strong late run to get up in the nick of time. KINSMAN REDEEMER allowed to settle, raced in the middle of the back between horses, launched an inside bid from the quarter pole finished well under steady handling and intermittent urging but got headed in the final jumps. MR. WALLBANGER chased the top pair to the stretch, bid from the quarter pole, was under heavy pressure in the stretch, was outfinished by the top pair but bested the rest for third. LOUDERMILK broke well, led a pack of pursers to the stretch, responded when set down for the drive got tired in the final furlong and gave way. SIR LIAM took up a tracking position behind the lone pacesetter, made a mild bid late on the turn, continued to chase through the stretch failed to change leads and faltered. DONEGAL DREAMER could not keep pace early, chased two wide to the turn, was under a stiff drive from the five-sixteenths pole but was unable to make an impact in the stretch despite being put to heavy pressure. HEZA ROYAL CAT lunged at the start, was coaxed to keep pace but started to lose ground from the half mile pole and was not a factor late.
