Chart notes
HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS stalked the pace through the turn, rallied four wide under right handed urging to make the lead in upper stretch and drew away under an energetic hand ride. AKIMBO pressed the pace along the inside into the turn, made the lead past the five sixteenths pole then was no match for the winner while clearly second best. MERGER was bumped at the start, never far back and finished with good courage along the rail. MY HOMBRE bore in bumping BE AN EDDIE into MERGER at the start, offered a bid along the rail entering the stretch then came up empty. BE AN EDDIE was bumped at the start and failed to menace. SEEKING FREEDOM set the pace two wide past the five sixteenths pole then was used up.
