Chart notes
DIVA IN MOTION dueled inside, dug in through the lane and edged away late. THREE P'S dueled outside the winner, was second best. PHANTOM EXPRESS chased from inside, was mid-pack on the turn, came out leaving that bend, moved in a bit in the stretch and gained show honors inside a tiring rival late. MOONSHINER switched out in the early going, stalked the leading pair three to four wide, advanced on the turn looming a threat coming to the top of the stretch then flattened out. MINISTER CONFESSOR came in at the start, saved ground on the turn, needed more. ARIZONA ROSE was in a bit tight after the break and never got near enough to threaten while swinging wide for the drive. ANGEL'S EFFORT chased near mid-pack from off the inside, failed to menace. EZ COWBOY broke with the lead rein still attached and dangling, was eased through the stretch, walked off, and declared a non-starter. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY IT WAS DETERMINED EZ COWBOY DID NOT HAVE A FAIR RACE AND THAT RUNNER WAS DECLARED A NON-STARTER WITH MUTUELS TO BE REFUNDED.
