Chart notes
FORT LANGLEY reared at the start, settled off the pace racing removed from the rail, began to pick it up into and on the far turn, fanned six wide into upper stretch, surged past late. SHUT UP MICHAEL (IRE) was urged from the break and sped clear shifting in to set the pace near the inside, was pressured through the far turn, kicked clear again in upper stretch but was outkicked. PACIFIC THEATER settled while shifting in early, raced toward the rear up the backstretch, came out in upper stretch improving position and just held show. FLY NIGHTLY unhurriedly brought up the rear early, swung nine wide into upper stretch, was flying at the finish but too late. ITS A BOY settled off the pace two to three wide early, moved nearer the rail heading up the backstretch, saved ground on the far turn, was guided out for room in upper stretch, ran on mildly. PICAHOUSE was three to four wide early in the back half of the field, made a mild advance under encouragement on the far turn, floated out seven deep turning for home, needed more late. HERECOMEGEORGIEBOY settled just off the leaders near the inside early, moved out and advanced under mild encouragement from the three-eighths gaining three to four wide on the leaders, was asked for more by the quarter pole, shifted in two deep in upper stretch and flattened out. ROBO switched out early, moved up outside the leader to press that one, loomed a threat coming to the top of the stretch but faltered and faded. MOVE OVER (GB) raced two to three wide early, was mid-pack into the far turn, moved nearer the fence, attempted to rally inside in upper- to mid-stretch but lacked the needed kick. DE LA LUNA was caught wide racing four to five deep early, failed to menace.
