Chart notes
BERTIE'S CAUSE outrun in the early going out in the strip, three wide into the turn,steered out five wide when beginning to advance late in the bend, set down for the drive, closed with good resolve to be up in time. BACKED BY GOLD forwardly placed off the inside, moved closer and vied three wide through the turn, continued to contest the issue upper stretch, proved stubborn to the end. LADY ASTRID off slowly, trailed well back early toward the inside, swung five wide into the lane, staged a rallied out in the strip to be in time for the show. SHE'S STORMING with the pace off the inside, dueled backstretch, vied between horses through the turn, held a narrow advantage into and through upper stretch, faltered the final furlong. TRAFALGAR SHORE dueled up front along the inside for a half and began to weaken. MY MAYBELENNE lacked speed, in the two path through the turn, failed to muster a rally. SHOUT IT OUT in mid pack and four wide into the far turn, three wide exiting, had nothing for the drive. CANKTON'S COWGIRL broke out and slowly. moved up while widest, pressed four wide through the turn then gave way in the drive.
