Chart notes
MALIBU WARRIOR was off slow at the start and continued unhurried in the back, picked up the pace late on the backstretch, quickly advanced into contention leaving the turn, cut the corner entering the lane, took command and finished going away. TOWN KISSER tracked the pace in early stages, moved up into striking distance near the quarter pole, was no match for eventual winner but sustained a steady bid and secured second best. RED ABARRIO pressed the early pace, matched strides entering the turn then led the way nearing the quarter pole, lost the lead to eventual winner entering upper stretch, churned on and cleared the rest. SKELLIG ISLAND tracked along the inside, hustled along four wide racing in contention late on the turn, ran on three deep past the furlong marker and weakened. NIGHTSCAPE stalked the pace through the backstretch, raced in aim for the lead near the quarter pole then gave way. RUNAWAYTOTHEMOON led the way in the early going, got collared near the three eighths pole, ran on along the inside then retreated in the lane. RAMBLIN CHROME was not too far back in the opening quarter, lost ground midway through the backstretch and made no impact.
