KADABRA broke alertly from the inside post, set the pace under heavy pressure to her outside, vied along the rail on the turn, was roused while being headed outside the quarter-pole, came under the crop while dueling with the runner-up in upper stretch, regained the advantage before the eighth-pole, continued a spirited tussle inside of the runner-up to the finish and gamely prevailed. GENA B moved up under urging then pressed the pace on the outside, turned up the pressure on the leader while in the two path on the turn, gained a narrow advantage outside the quarter-pole, battled outside of the winner under a drive in upper stretch, lost the lead back to that foe before the eighth-pole, fought on while dueling gamely on the outside to the finish and just missed while clear for the place. NACHO PROBLEM chased the early pace then dropped back quickly under urging late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the three path, turned into the stretch under a drive and willingly secured the show. ALWAYS READY was off slow then stumbled after the start, spotted the front several lengths, was urged along at the rear on the far outside, dropped from the five path to the rail early on the turn, saved ground from that point into the stretch, hugged the rail in the drive and failed to threaten. LOOKS TO KILL dropped back while ridden along, rounded the turn in the four path, turned into upper stretch under a drive, drifted in near the furlong marker and was no factor.
