Chart notes
CAMM' DUKE coaxed from the gate to the front, showed the way in hand just off the inside patiently handled when slipping away through the latter portion of the turn, got set down spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, edged clear to the eighth pole, dug in and held well to the finish. PRINCE OF TRUTH chased along the inside under a ride from the three-eighths marker, swung three wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. MR. MENDELSSOHN chased along the inside under encouragement from three furlongs out, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. STRAND ROAD two then three wide in pursuit, came under urging midway on the turn, angled four wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. GIMME GIMME chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn ridden along from the three-eighths pole, angled six wide at the top of the stretch and offered no response. MESSI THE MAGICIAN hustled from the gate, chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking to the two path into the turn, got pushed along with three furlongs remaining, cornered three wide into upper stretch and came up empty.
