Chart notes
CROSS THE CAUSEWAY was reserved off the early pace, rallied five-wide into the stretch and finished fast to be up in the final seventy yards. UNCLE LEON was forwardly placed while racing tw0-wide, swung out to be four-wide entering the stretch and closed strongly. SQUARE CAT dueled for the lead from along the inside with NO D'ORO and COMPANY'S BID to the stretch then responded to hold on gamely during the drive while being unable to resist the top two. CREATIVE BID saved ground while being unhurried, slipped through during the drive and gained his best stride too late. COMPANY'S DREAM dueled for the lead to the stretch while three-wide and waekened. NO D'ORO disputed the pace from between horses to the stretch and tired. MAN OVERBOARD dropped back early, came six-wide into the stretch and was not a factor. LUCKY LAD was allowed to settle early, came three-wide into the stretch and failed to menace.
