Chart notes
HOSTILE AFLEET was well placed on the inside in the middle of the pack around the first turn then made a middle move to be able to slip through nearing the eighth pole and drove clear in the final furlong. CLASSIC BET roused to the front to duel for the lead from the inside to the top of the stretch before being collared at the eighth pole but stayed on to hold the place position. SAM'S PROMISE stalked the pace from two wide down the backstretch then moved out to three wide into the stretch and dug in late to be up for the show. MR. FOUR SEVENS was hustled away from the gate to duel for the lead to the top of the stretch then was nailed at the eighth pole and gave way grudgingly. APPLEWOOD trailed the field to the three furlong marker then made a rail bid around the final turn but flattened out. STAR READY raced off the pace from three wide to the half mile marker before weakening and dropping back. IT'S A BIRD was always back and never a threat. CHAOSMOS had a slight hop leaving the gate then moved up around the first turn to be in the middle of the pack down the backstretch then faded.
