Chart notes
FAUST with the pace from the start three wide up the backstretch, worked clear in the turn, drew out stretch. DIVINO in the second flight, advanced three wide and between horses into the stretch, chased the winner past the furlong marker, had little more for that one, held the place. DRILL BABY in mid pack and outside, moved toward the front with the runner up through the turn, lost some ground to that one and the winner into the stretch, slowly closing the gap for second while also not a threat to the winner. CANNON off a step slow, asked early, continued under urging far turn, came five wide for the drive, staged a mild rally down the middle of the strop to better his position. FANATICAL vied up front inside the winner and between horses, second flight when beginning a gradual fade in the turn, continued to weaken through the lane. TROUBLE'S ROARING went one paced while saving ground, lacked a closing kick. TEXAS CYCLONE flashed early foot along the inside, began to back up after three furlongs. GUNS AND SHIPS broke slowly, back off the pace in the two path, failed to muster a rally when called on in the drive. SKIBIDI RIZZ remained back in failing to threaten. LORD DIAMOND behind the pace outside, four wide late in the turn, retreated down the lane. CLOSE CALL was finished early, faded.
