Chart notes

SAINT TEMPLAR was reserved on the inside, advanced in the two path on the turn, moved to the inside nearing the quarter pole, then moved out in the lane to make a bid and drew clear late to prove best under left handed crop urging. HELMS DEEP pressed the pace three wide and made a two wide bid to be clear by the quarter pole, then remained clear by the furlong marker but could not hold off the winner and had to settle for second best. WARRIOR ON TAP was void of early speed on the outside, three to four wide on the far turn and had a late rally. PENTATONIC set a pressured pace on the inside, relented the lead on the turn leaving the five sixteenths and moved out nearing the quarter pole and weakened.
