Chart notes
CASCABEL set the pace, drew in the drive for a clear lead, was tiring and held off the late charge of ROBARANDO to just last. ROBARANDO was crowded at the start, advanced to the turn, swung wide entering the stretch, closed willingly and was gaining fast late. BAKERSFIELD AFFAIR veered in at the start, raced close to the pace inside, shifted out on the turn, bid, came up empty late and settled for show. CHATTY LEROYBROWN fell back on the turn, swung wide entering the stretch and steadily faded. WISHING GOLD was fractious in the gate, broke out and was outrun in a dull effort. JOHNNY B GOODE ducked out at the start, was pulled up and was walked off.
