Chart notes
LUMBERYARD moved forward inside up the backstretch, was just off the inside flank of the leader into the turn, angled out coming out of that bend with aim and momentum, struck the lead past mid-stretch and drew clear. BOURBON NORTH quickly moved clear, set the pace near the inside, was no match for the winner but held place. CONNOR chased three to four wide, floated six wide turning for home, kept on but missed the place. PIN BOY was lightly brushed after the start, settled off the pace and removed from the fence racing three to four wide on the turn, floated seven wide out of that bend, needed more but ran on. SOUPER EFFECT trailed, swung eight wide and passed tired rivals. ITS IN THE CARDS was lightly bumped into a foe just after the start, raced near the inside off the pace and was never near enough to threaten. BACKONTHECHAINGANG broke outwardly, was encouraged along outside a rival well back of the leaders, failed to rally. BENNYS JETS bumped a rival after the start, was up close two to three wide and in traffic on the turn, faded thereafter.
