Chart notes
DETAIL ORIENTED was away alertly and went straight to the front, showed the way while urged along down the backstretch, went around the turn in the two path, responded well when put to a right-handed crop in upper stretch, had the rider put the crop away outside the sixteenth-pole then was placed under a solid hand-ride to the finish while best. DON LUIS was last to commence, settled on the outside, was urged along late on the backstretch, chased in the four path on the turn, dropped to the three path into upper stretch, pursued the winner in the drive and was unable to impact that foe while holding the place. POPPY'S TICKET showed speed on the inside then was eased back just off the pace, saved ground while asked on the turn, lost ground on the leader while angling out on his inside lead in upper stretch, swapped to the proper lead just inside the furlong marker and finished willingly but missed the place while clear for the show. TERMINAL VELOCITY stalked the pace on the outside, was asked near the seven-sixteenths pole, chased in the three path on the turn, dropped to the two path into upper stretch and weakened. TIOTE was hustled from the gate then urged along just off the pace, dropped back with five furlongs to run, fell further off the pace late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the two path, was guided out in upper stretch and failed to rally. ANMOLO was urged along towards the back early then taken in hand outside the five-eighths pole, came back under urging outside the nine-sixteenths pole, saved ground on the turn and failed to threaten. COLLEGE HUNK settled at the rear, was roused near the seven-sixteenths pole, went around the turn in the five path, passed the quarter-pole under the crop, was carried out some outside the furlong marker and was no factor.
