Chart notes
BISHOPS BAY came outward at the start, prompted the pace on the inside of a rival, drew even with that foe late on the backstretch, vied along the rail on the turn, was put to the crop while still on even terms with the runner-up in upper stretch, dueled gamely with that foe to the finish and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. QUINT'S BREW broke out at the start, showed the way on the outside of a rival, vied in the two path while on even terms for the lead on the turn, was put to the crop in upper stretch, dueled outside of the winner to the finish and missed while well clear for the place. YO DADDY was bumped on both sides just after the start then checked while pinched back, settled well behind the rest of the field, moved closer in the three to four path on the turn, shifted out near the three-sixteenths pole and narrowly earned the show while no match for the top two. BANK FRENZY was carried out at the start then bumped with a foe, settled off the pace, was roused in the two to three path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response then just missed the show. WORCESTER settled on the outside, was urged along late on the backstretch, chased in the four the five path on the turn, dropped back while fanned out some in upper stretch and tired. HOWGREATISNATE bumped with a rival just after the start, settled towards the rear, was urged along in the two to three path on the turn and failed to respond then was reported to have bled. TUMBARUMBA was taken under a tight hold early then rated off the pace, came under encouragement late on the backstretch, chased in the three then four path on the turn, dropped back while fanned out some in upper stretch and had nothing left.
