Chart notes
MISS MIKOS broke well, stalked three wide early then bid for the lead leaving the three furlong marker, swung four wide into the stretch and finished well when put to steady handling and intermittent urging to win clear. THUNDER KIN broke awkwardly and was last early but not far from the front, made a three wide middle move around the turn under a drive, produced a grinding finish four wide down the stretch and was up in time to gain the second prize. JOYZELLA hustled hard from the break, gained the lead under pressure, led the way into the turn, fought back when challenged by the winner past the quarter pole, finished up will but proved no match. CHIQUITA REINA was a little slow into stride, settled mid-pack on the inside, bided time through the turn with no outlet, dove through a big opening along the rail into the stretch run, finished willingly but was outkicked in the late stages. SHE STOPPED SHORT bobbled shortly after the break, vied between horses contesting the early pace, was still in contention past the quarter pole then tired in mid-stretch. ABSOLUTE MIRACLE had to be ridden to keep up early then dropped to last going into the turn, saved ground to no avail and could not improve in the late stages.
