Chart notes

PINK PACIFIC sent to take the early lead, set the pace off of the rail and was well handled up the backstretch, drew clear along the second turn, turned into the stretch while in hand and held sway through the lane to win as much the best. TRUCKIN settled while never far back, tracked between runners to the second turn, split foes and bid into the stretch, was no match for the winner in the lane and was a clear second best. DRINKROUNDTHETRUTH tracked the pace three wide and between runners, was caught a bit in tight nearing the second turn, waited for room then swung five to six wide into upper stretch, could not impact the top pair late and ran on for third. DISCREET MOB caught widest into the first turn, tracked the pace while widest up the backstretch, chased four wide along the second turn, was outkicked into the lane and weakened late. BLAZING TO GOLD stalked the pace from the inside, chased along the second turn then gave way in the stretch. GREY STORM unhurried, saved ground to the second turn then was blocked approaching the top of the stretch, angled three to four wide into the lane then could not find the needed response. TIME TRAVELIN stalked the pace two to three wide to the far turn, could not keep pace into the stretch and tired. DANZING MINER off a step slow, rushed four to five wide into the first turn, tracked the pace between runners up the backstretch, lost position past the half-mile pole and came up empty in the lane. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time available.
