Chart notes

PATH TO SUCCESS raced five wide around the first turn, mid pack early on, moved up three wide through the far turn and edged up late under strong handling. COUSIN LARRY set a pressured early pace along the inside and gave way to the winner grudgingly. UNANIMOUSLY unhurried early on, moved up three to four wide around the far turn and improved position. THUNDER ROAD stalked the top trio, raced from the inside near the quarter pole, shifted out four wide through the stretch run and was even with no closing run. OVERANALYTICAL prompt the early leader from the outside and faded. UNCLE NICK stalked the pace from the inside early on and tired. HAIL THE CAT reared at the break, raced five wide near the seven eighths pole and never menaced.
