Chart notes
ANNA AFTER MIDNITE veered out at the start, moved up to assume command, drew off on the turn for a clear lead and held under urging. TIME BREAK brushed at the start, lagged early, bid off the rail leaving the turn and closed steadily to narrow the gap. JULIAISON brushed at the start, bid inside leaving the turn, angled out past the eighth pole, closed well and gained late. STAR'S DREAM brushed at the start, was void of early speed, went seven wide at the top of the stretch and passed tiring rivals. SHORT STRAW got away well, led early, fell back on the turn and had nothing left for the drive. GREEN CHILE broke out and brushed at the start, saved ground to the turn, angled out and lacked a bid.
