Chart notes
PATRIARCHAL stalked the pace three wide, took over at the quarter pole and pulled away in a brisk hand ride. TWENTYEIGHTTOTHREE outrun early, advanced wide and proved easily second best while no threat to the winner. PONTIAC settled just off the leaders inside, angled out in the stretch with a mild rally. RYAN'S FLEET hustled to the front, moved briefly clear on the turn then weakened. DOS DE OROS dropped well behind inside and was never a factor. HAP'S VICTORY underwent shoe repair in paddock, forced the pace inside and faded. LIBERTY RUNNER lagged far behind and was never in contention. IT'S A PITY dropped back after the start and trailed throughout.
