Chart notes
FIRST TRUMPET advanced after the start to take command with six furlongs to run, showed the way in hand along the inside under some pressure from UNBROKEN CHAIN down the backstretch and then MACAW into the turn, remained patiently handled and in hand through the turn and spun just off the inside into upper stretch, got roused to a drive just outside the eighth pole, edged clear briefly before holding well and safe to the finish. GAMETIME GLADIATOR chased two then three wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. MACAW forwardly placed three wide down the backstretch, advanced on the front to apply pressure midway on the turn, came under urging at the five-sixteenths, angled five wide for home and weakened in the late stages. OUTSOURCE coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, offered no response. UNBROKEN CHAIN coaxed from the start, showed the way early on before displaced from command with six furlongs to run, prompted the leader from the outside in the two path loosely between foes coming under encouragement three furlongs out, cornered three wide into upper stretch in the midst of being shaken off and weakened through to the finish.
