Chart notes

JOSEFINA chased in the three path, was ridden around the turn, bid from the four path at the top of the lane, bumped with an inner foe before the eighth pole, then again with a different inner foe while sticking her head in front passing the eighth pole, and inched ahead in the final sixteenth. SUNNY LION tracked inside, was coaxed along the rail around the turn, tipped out to the two path at the top of the stretch, but got shut off just before the eighth pole, angled back to the rail just after, and ran on to get up for place. SECRET VALENTINE stalked in the two path, bid passing the three-eighths pole, took the lead midway around the turn, stayed on from the two path into the stretch, brushed with an outer foe while losing the lead passing the eighth pole, and faded in the final sixteenth. ITSALWAYSMOONLIT had a slow start, trailed from the four path turning into the stretch and never threatened. E KRACKER set the pace inside, lost the lead midway around the turn, and yielded down the lane. AFTER A STEWARDS INQUIRY AS WELL AS OBJECTIONS BY THE RIDERS OF SUNNY LION AND SECRET VALENTINE AGAINST THE RIDER OF JOSEFINA FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH, JOSEFINA WAS DISQUALFIED FROM FIRST AND PLACED THIRD.
