Chart notes
MY GIRL KEW set the pace in the two path, faced off with an outer challenger rounding the turn, was roused passing the quarter, bumped with that same challenger while in the three path at the top of the lane, dug in while dueling with that foe to the wire, and held gamely. CARMEL ROSE pressed the pace in the three path, bid passing the three-eighths pole, bumped with an inner foe while in the four path turning into the stretch, dueled with that foe to the wire, but could not get past. ARTISTIC LANEY broke out and bumped an outer foe, rated in the two path, came under coaxing in the four path midway around the turn, swung out to the seven path at the top of the lane, and was one paced while staying on the left lead for show. BEAUTIFUL CHARADE chased in the four path but flattened in the six path down the stretch. PEEKABOOWILLIE trailed from the four path into the turn, tipped inside turning into the stretch, but made no impact. FLAME FOR REAL got bumped by an inner foe at the start, tracked in the three path early but gradually retreated. NO CHANGES WERE MADE AFTER AN OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF CARMEL ROSE AGAINST THE RIDER OF MY GIRL KEW FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE TOP OF THE STRETCH WAS DISALLOWED.
