Chart notes
B C CHU CHU broke outward, contended the early pace inside of SOLAR FORCE, was under pressure into the stretch, drifted out under left-handed urging, and just held under a late drive. MAGIC TIP stalked the early pacesetters, drove four to five wide, rallied determinedly outside, dug in in the final yards and narrowly missed after a game effort. SOLAR FORCE pressed the pace outside of B C CHU CHU, was interfered with mid-stretch and checked. OOPS (GB) lacked early speed, and closed well late. VIOLENT VIOLET saved ground early, and rallied belatedly. STEWARDS INQUIRY- The Stewards conducted an inquiry into the stretch run of the race involving B C CHU CHUC and SOLAR FORCE. After review B C CHU CHU was determined to have caused interference with SOLAR FORCE and disqualified and placed third.
