Chart notes
FLAT CAP chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, began a bid from the three path coming around the turn and kicked clear in the stretch. LAST SHALL B FIRST stalked the pace setter on the outside through the opening quarter, swung out to the four path coming around the bend, began a bid passing the quarter pole and improved position in the stretch. HERETICKLE raced in the middle of the pack up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and finished evenly. FIGHTING WORDS led the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and gave way in the lane. INMORTAL J trailed the field early, navigated the turn from the three path and was never a threat. THEO'S THUNDER raced at the back of the pack through the opening stages, continued around the turn in the four path and made no bid. GENTLEMAN CALLER raced off the pace up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and was empty while drifting out in the stretch.
