Chart notes
ACOUSTIC AVE broke out at the start and was corrected, chased four then three wide advancing on the front through the latter portion of the turn, got set down spinning three wide into upper stretch and seized command straightened away, drew clear under a drive to prevail. FACTUALLY CORRECT a bit fractious in the gate prior to the start, showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing nearing the quarter pole under growing threat, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and was headed for command straightened away, proved no match for the top one, ran on to preserve the place honors. BRACIOLE broke a beat slow and then was outrun early on growing detached at the tail of the field in pursuit two to three wide, came under a ride with seven-sixteenths to run, angled six wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. DAUFUSKIE ISLAND grew a bit fractious prior to the start, got coaxed from the start, chased along the inside down the backstretch, began to angle out three furlongs from home, came under encouragement three wide at the five-sixteenths, tipped four to five wide into upper stretch and weakened. TEN CENT TOWN coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside and then along the inside ridden along with three-eighths to go, swung four to five wide into upper stretch, tired and was placed to a protective hold through the final sixteenth. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPS chased three then two wide under a ride from three furlongs out, cornered three wide at the head of the stretch, tired.
