Chart notes
WEDGE POND broke alertly then saved ground while setting the pace, was given his cue, kicked away and held under a late drive. HANK OLLIE raced four wide leaving the backstretch, closed gamely and missed after a good effort. FROSTEDBIRD bumped repeatedly leaving the backstretch, moved up alongside WEDGE POND to challenge the lead, was unable to move on with rival and faded. LINCHPIN STORM brushed leaving the gate, shifted out to the three path bumping into FROSTEDBIRD, rallied late but was unable to improve position. READYTOTAPNSING squeezed out of the gate, drove four wide into the lane, and lacked the kick needed. COUNTRIFIED broke outward brushing LINCHPIN STORM, and offered a late mild bid. JOCKEY OBJECTION- An objection was raised by the rider of HANK OLLIE, claiming interference at the start with the rider of WEDGE POND. After a thorough review by the Stewards, no alteration to the outcome was made.
