CROSSTOWN SHOOTOUT stalked along the inside, chased while tipping outside of the clearing leader in upper stretch, and ran on to gain place in the final furlong. MR PUK led narrowly in the two path as the eventual winner applied stern outer pressure, got bested by that one in upper stretch, gave way and lasted for show. JUNIOR BUG broke a beat slow, trailed in the two path, swung out to the seven path into upper stretch and rallied willingly to miss show. KHOZY MY BOY brushed with an inner rival leaving the gate, stalked four to three wide into the turn, chased while getting floated to the five path into the lane and yielded. PERUVIAN LUCKY brushed with an outer foe at the start, tracked two wide, chased in the four to three path into upper stretch and gave way. READY PURSUIT lacked speed along the inside, split foes two wide in midstretch and improved position. KANT BEAT THE ROCK broke outwardly, raced off of the pace in the five to four path into the turn, shifted out to the six path into the lane and failed to factor. CRITICAL THREAT raced well back in the two to three path and failed to factor between horses. EASY OPERATOR was brushed on both sides at the start, prompted between the leaders briefly, but gave way between rivals with eleven sixteenths to go and steadily faded.
