Chart notes
CHUCKANUT BAY saved ground setting the pace and maintained a safe advantage. HORSE DOCTOR was forwardly placed while racing two-wide, offered a bid entering the stretch but was unable to reach the winner while proving to be clearly second best. BEDROCK was reserved off the pace, came four-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. ORTH saved ground while being allowed to settle, angled out to come three-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. DENNARD was unhurried early, came five-wide into the stretch and rallied late. FORT NECESSITY saved ground chasing CHUCKANUT AY early and weakened. BEAU MISCHIEF settled in the back of the field while racing two-wide and failed to threaten. STEPHEN JAMES saved ground racing in the middle of the field and failed to menace.
