Chart notes
EVANDERKEEN stalked the leaders through the first turn while saving ground at the rail, launched his bid from along the inside entering the final turn, slipped through along the rail entering the stretch and drew clear late to prove best. ZENARI away alertly and raced to the lead while racing one out from the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace from the inside of THISONESFORME in the run down the backside, was overtaken leaving the turn, but battled gamely two wide in the lane to prove clearly second best. MAX BOOSTER broke sharply and tracked the leaders two out from the rail entering the first turn, appeared to be brushed by THISONESONME leaving the turn, continued three wide in the run down the backside and into the final turn, and finished evenly from along the rail in the drive to garner a share. NOZOMI settled at the back of a compact field while racing three wide into the backstretch, rallied two out from the rail entering the final turn, and finished two out from the rail in the drive while unable to make a serious late impact. THISONESONME chased the pacesetter into the first turn from along the rail, before taking back and easing two wide leaving the turn, appeared to briefly make contact with MAX BOOSTER, continued two wide in the run to the final turn, but faded over the final furlong.
