MOONLIT NOTION very sharp leaving the chute, keep inside foe at bay into the turn, repelled outside challengers leaving the furlong marker, drew off convincingly for the victory. RAY OF SUNSHINE broke a step slow, cruised up inside waited for room nearing the three eighths pole, skimmed the rail turning for home, rallied inside late for the place. IM THE DIRECTOR pressed three deep in pursuit of the leader leaving the furlong marker, all out on the wrong lead, out kicked through final jumps for the place. DADSNUMBRONEHELPR chased the pace between around the turn, chased on leaving the eighth pole, flattened out through the wire. MIDNIGHT MESA slow start, moved up pinched between runners, clipped heels, eased and jogged home. There was a steward's inquiry involving MIDNIGHT MESA leaving the chute, after the review the judges disqualified IM THE DIRECTOR and placed him last.
