DENYING tracked close up on the inside, saved ground waiting for room on the far turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, took over, then dueled with ENGLISH PAINTER in the final sixteenth and prevailed. ENGLISH PAINTER raced five wide early, settled off the pace, advanced inside on the far turn, briefly waited for room at the quarter pole, rallied on the rail entering the stretch, dueled with DENYING in the final furlong and dug in gamely inside to the finish. SWIFT TAP set the pace on the inside, dueled on the far turn and weakened in the stretch. TUNE IN stalked close up two wide, bid on the far turn, dueled and tired.
