Chart notes

TALKIN TIPSY grabbed the lead soon after the start, held a slim lead then widened to a clear advantage without much asking around the turn, was ridden along two wide into the upper stretch, remained well clear under a confident pilot and finished ridden out. STONE COLD LOVER rated off the top trio in early stages, roused for more three wide near the quarter pole, responded, sustained bid down the lane and cleared second best. BROKEN HEARTS BAY raced in range along the inside, coaxed two to three wide into the upper stretch, ran on evenly then found more late and captured a share. DEMIDANU was off a step slow at the start, was allowed to settle in the back while never too far from the frontend, crept closer four wide late on the far turn, came under firm left handed encouragement down the lane, briefly gained then lost show in final strides. BACK TO OHIO was forwardly placed in early stages, remained in contention along the rail on the turn, cut the corner and hustled along into upper stretch, ran on past the furlong marker then flattened out. SINGING EMMA raced just off the early leader, failed to advance when called upon mid-way around the turn and faded in the lane.
