ABOVE AVERAGE broke sharply and dueled for the lead from the outside of WIRLY GIRLY entering the first turn, forced the issue from the outside of that rival in the run down the backside, assumed command entering the final turn, and held her very determined pace rival safely at bay late to prove best. WIRLY GIRLY away alertly and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace from the inside of ABOVE AVERAGE in the run down the backside, saved ground while chasing her pace rival into the final turn, and closed smartly three wide in the drive to prove easily second best. MATSQUI away well and stalked the leaders into the backstretch while racing two wide from between rivals, launched her bid from along the inside entering the final turn, and finished one out from the rail in the drive to garner a share. PRINCESS ALESKA unhurried early while trailing the field into the first turn while racing two out from the rail, shifted four wide entering the backstretch and rushed into contention in the run to the final turn, rallied three wide through the turn, but was unable to sustain her bid in the late going. SUPER CARO stalked the dueling leaders through the first turn while saving ground at the rail, trailed the field into the final turn, and wasn't persevered with over the final furlong.
