Chart notes
BIGFOOT SIGHTING quickest leaving the gate, took control of the tempo around the first turn, in hand rated off outside foe leaving the three eights marker, put to task four wide turning into the lane, re-rallied reeled in front runner, drew off driving through the wire. VALIANT WEST raced off the pace five wide down the back stretch, upped the pressure six wide leaving the furlong marker, finished willingly. WHISKEY OR WINE settled well back early on, shifted gears steered off the inside leaving the quarter pole, gained ground between runners, rallied late for the show. BOONE'S PATH chased the speed around the first turn, quickened to the front headed into the second bend, clear lead turning into the lane, collared by outside rival leaving the eighth pole, faded through the lane. BYWORD settled inside off the pace down the backside, rail bid stalled in traffic nearing the furlong marker, came up empty after that. T LAW tracked the pace three wide into second bend, under urging leaving the quarter pole, weakened. JOURNEY hustled up soon after the start, chased the pace leaving the first turn, faltered. There was a trainer's objection in this race, the trainer of BYWORD claimed foul against the rider of BIGFOOT SIGHTING for interference in the stretch, after the steward's review, the result stood official no change.
