Chart notes
SUGARCOAT rated in the three path, angled out to the five path at the top of the lane, and rallied outiside of foes to get up in the final sixteenth. WONDER WAVE (IRE) stalked between foes in the three path, bid from the four path at the top of the stretch, took command while drifting in on the left lead passing the eighth pole, but caught by an outer foe in the final sixteenth. COMPENDIUM tracked inside, waited around the far turn, was roused turning into the lane, and kept on up the rail for show. BALMORHEA prompted the pace inside, took the lead passing the half, was challenged on both sides while in the two path at the top of the stretch, and faded in the final furlong. MISSY GURL hopped at the start, raced off the pace in the three path, angled in and bumped an inner foe approaching the far turn, then made no impact down the lane. ANDREA DIANE set the pace in the two path down the backstretch, lost the lead to an inner foe after the half, fought on around the turn, but weakened from the three path in the final furlong. BARBANERA raced in midpack in the five path, fanned out to the seven path turning into the stretch, but made no closing bid. SIGNORA VITTORIA had a slow start, was wellback in the four path and never a factor. ZIAH Y G chased inside, got bumped by an outer foe approaching the far turn, and never threatened.
