Chart notes
GENIUS JIMMY controlled the pace from inside to the far turn, coaxed along around that bend, roused entering the lane, met the bid from SARWAR (FR) in deep stretch and gamely prevailed. SARWAR (FR) stalked the lone leader from inside, tipped two wide into the stretch, drew alongside GENIUS JIMMY in the final sixteenth, gained inch by inch late but got denied. EYE ON RY reserved along the inside, picked up stride on the backstretch, saved ground to the lane, moved off the fence and gained third. LAMMAS (GB) stalked in the two path, crept closer into the far turn, rounded the bend three deep and lacked a bid down the stretch. CATHAL (IRE) unhurried outside a rival at the back, followed in range in the two path on the far turn, swung out into the lane and flattened out. GOLD FOOT was closest in pursuit in the two path, continued giving chase two wide on the far turn, got moved to the three path by SARWAR (FR) exiting the bend and weakened.
