Chart notes
MOMAD cleared quickly and crossed over, took pressure from LYELL'S SONG, tried to shake loose early on the far turn but failed to do so, led inside a pair of rivals into the lane, dueled with GHAZAALY approaching the eight pole, put that rival away with a sixteenth remaining and held over the late charge from the runner-up. BRAZENLY tracked outside a trio of rivals into the first turn, angled to the two path around the bend, trailed up the backstretch, went four wide around the far turn, closed well from outside to gain second but could not get by the winner. GHAZAALY raced up close outside the top pair, bid three deep with a quarter mile remaining, dueled MOMAD into the final eighth of a mile but yielded in deep stretch. LYELL'S SONG stalked between rivals into the first turn, moved up to apply pressure to MOMAD from outside, fought between rivals with a quarter mile remaining and weakened down the lane. SELF SUFFICIENT stalked along the rail, came under a ride on the far turn, tipped out to the three path and faded.
