Chart notes
CURLIN GUNNER forced the pace outside, took over midway on the final turn and drew away under mild handling. ZOPPI FISCHBEIN trailed initial half mile, advanced on the final turn was no match for the winner while easily second best. HATMAKER GIZMO led under pressure inside, yielded on the final turn and faded. TIZ DONEGAL lacked speed, moved five wide into the stretch and was no menace. TAKEMETOTHEMOON was well placed behind the dueling leaders then proved empty in the stretch. WILKINSON WARRIOR saved ground behind the pacesetters and stopped abruptly.
