Chart notes
MISTER WAYSIDE showed speed away from the start, assumed early command then set the pace while pressured into the turn, held foes at bay into upper stretch, dug in through the lane and held safely for the win in the late stages. MISSIN HOLLYWOOD chased the early pace from the outside, ran in pursuit three to four wide into the turn, angled to the two path nearing the top of the stretch, battled to the furlong marker, could not muster a final kick into deep stretch and held for second. MANDOLIN WIND bumped then squeezed at the start and off slowly, advanced three to four wide along the turn, swung five wide into upper stretch, closed fast in the late stages and missed for second, while getting up in time for third. LEGACY ACCOUNT stalked the early pace three wide, pressed into the turn then vied for the lead four wide into upper stretch, could not muster the needed response into the final sixteenth and was outkicked in deep stretch. CONNORS OUTLAW broke well, attended to the early pace while between runners, pressed the pace two wide to the quarter marker, chased three wide into the stretch, could not find the needed late response and weakened in deep stretch. FRIGERATOR allowed to settle, saved ground into the turn, saved all of the ground to upper stretch and did not threaten in the late stages. THETRUTHISTHETRUTH tracked the early pace from inside of runners, chased two wide to the quarter marker, lacked a response into the stretch and gave way. SALT CREEK KID allowed to settle early, raced four to five wide to the quarter marker and did not factor in the stretch drive. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time available.
