Chart notes
GOOD N SASSY broke well, with the pace while between horses up the backstretch and into the turn, continued to do battle into the lane, duel the length of the stretch, narrowly gained the nod at the end. LADY CHERYL'S SONG also away in good order, set or forced the pace throughout while closest to the inside, narrowly missed. LIAM'S MIST broke back, continued to lack speed, three wide into the lane, in some traffic nearing the furlong grounds, floated out, in a bit tight again late, late run between those rivals to be closing the gap on the top two. ABOUT TO SET SAIL last to leave, trailed early, lagged back in trailing into the turn, angled out four wide for the drive, lugged in a bit past the furlong marker, displayed a mild amount of late interest while widest at the wire. PSALM PRAYER one paced throughout while off the inside, lacked a closing response when called on for the drive. SHAMAY broke with the top two, vied outside that pair for three furlongs, first to blink of that trio entering the stretch. NEON MOONLIGHT broke with leaders, second flight inside, had little left for the stretch run.
