Chart notes
SAINT PETER'S BAY broke in a bit to help tighten up a couple of inner rivals, was straightened to settled behind the two leaders three wide, closer through the turn, outside bid into lane, dueled, wore that rival down to be clear at the end. STARSCAPE pressed the leader up the backstretch, took over turn, dueled inside the winner into the lane, could not keep pace late, second best. MR. B CAUSE back off the pace and the inside, asked turn, came three wide for the drive, finished willingly to be closing the gap on the top two late. AMERICAN CITY pinched back at the start, void of speed in trailing for a half, came on the outside for the drive, improved while finding best stride too late and while drifting a bit. RIVERWALK showed the way out of the chute off the inside, vied between foes and inside the winner and outside the runner up, gave way steadily from between those two to lose position through the lane. SARAH'S VISION in tight at the start, was not a threat in remaining back. GOLDEN QUALITY broke out to bother a pair of outer rivals, was never a threat from near the back. COASTAL DEFENSE closest to the two leaders up the backstretch, moved a bit closer along the inside into the turn then began to steadily fade.
