Chart notes
SMACKZILLA broke well and was in the middle of the early pace scramble, emerged with TOUGH TROOPER going into the turn, tracked that rival under a drive, gained the lead in mid stretch and was fully extended to hold off a host of challengers in the final yards. RIGHT CIDER allowed to settle from the break, raced mid-pack inside through the early stages, rallied into contention on the rail through the turn, finished up well under steady handling and intermittent urging but came up a head short. SOCIAL SOONER tracked four wide into the turn, was under an all-out drive fro the three furlong pole, loomed boldly in upper stretch but struggled with the lead change, flattened out, then came back on again late. TEXOMA settled mid-pack, came three wide into the stretch and was gaining late but ran out of time. ZIM'S TRANS AM pressed two wide early, finished evenly under handling. TOUGH TROOPER hustled up inside, led the way through the turn, had the lead in upper stretch but weakened, kept trying hard but was outfinished in the late stages. ISAIDWHATISAID lacked any speed and was far back early, rallied six wide into the stretch and was gaining despite racing on the wrong lead. SEVEN DEVILS ROAD broke with the pack but backed out of a potential pace scramble, altered course the outside five path midway down the backstretch, struggled to keep pace on the turn and lacked a rally in the stretch. VISUAL POWERHOUSE reared at the break and was away well behind the field, came five-wide into the stretch and was not being persevered with in the late stages. LINCOLNS BRISKET broke sharply and raced five wide close up early then faltered in the stretch.
