Chart notes
PRINCE DAVID bumped with the horses to both sides and was pinched back leaving the gate, raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the three path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and kicked clear. INSANITY IT SEEMS led the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and was caught near the wire. FOURTY FOUR chased the leader through the opening quarter, continued around the turn in the two path and kept on to the wire. VALID SENSE bumped with the horse to his inside at the start, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside early, navigated the turn from the two path and finished evenly. HARD SCHOLAR bumped with the horses to both sides at the break, raced off the pace on the rail up the backstretch, came around the bend in the two path and made no bid. GUYS TRIP bumped with the horses to his outside leaving the gate, settled in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and faded in the stretch.
