Chart notes
TEXAS FREE pressed the pace between rivals, bid at the quarter pole and was clear in the stretch under a steady drive. YOU'RE FIRED was bumped at the start, pressed the pace in the three path but couldn't match strides in the drive. LIGHTING FIGHTER bore out at the start, led inside and faded on the turn. DAUWE bore out at the start, raced in the four path, moved to the two path on the turn, bid at the quarter pole, but was no threat. SLINK was brushed at the start, bid three wide on the turn and then faltered in the drive. RICKY WANNABE was not a factor. INFINITY'S WARRIOR delayed the race due to a shoe repair in the paddock, was off awkwardly, saved ground, bid at the three-sixteenths pole and faltered. COWBOY JUSTICE was impeded at the start.
