SKIMBLE SHANKS was rated along the inside, moved out leaving the quarter pole and came four wide into the lane to make a bid and drew clear in the final furlong to prove best under a drive. STATELY ORDER set the pace on the inside and was headed leaving the five sixteenths and dug in gamely by the quarter pole, fought on through the lane but could not go with the winner while being second best. SPINNING MUSICIAN prompted the pace three to two wide and made a two wide bid on the far turn to duel for command came three wide off the bend but flattened out in the final furlong. COPPERHEAD CREEK stalked the pace on the outside and made a three to four wide bid on the far turn while being ridden along, came five wide into the lane but tired.
