ANILEATE went to the front, showed the way on the inside, shook clear nearing the three-eighths pole, responded well when asked into the stretch, came under one pop of a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker, was put to a solid hand-ride from that point until about the final forty yards then was eased up while much the best. CAN'T FOOL ME came away in good order, rounded the first turn in the two path, prompted the pace on the outside of the winner, was asked near the seven-sixteenths pole, chased in the two then three path on the far turn, was put to the crop outside the quarter-pole, pursued the winner in the drive and proved no match.
