Chart notes

MAGNIFICENT RIDE was rated along towards the outside, moved in to draft in the two path on the turn, came two wide off the bend and angled out nearing the furlong marker and made a bid to hit the front at the sixteenth marker and then held off a resurgent and game CARGO SHIP under a vigorous hand ride. CARGO SHIP tracked tyhe early paced and then went up to press the issue between rivals by the five sixteenths and made a two wide bid to gain a short lead by the quarter pole, came three wide off the bend and was clear by the furlong marker, then was headed and passed by the winner by the sixteenth marker but fought on gamely to the wire but had to settle for second best. MY BLUE EYES was away alertly to set the pace on the inside while clear, headed nearing the quarter pole and dueled for command but faded in the final furlong. KBCYA LATER stalked the pace and made a three wide bid on the turn but faded in the drive. EDDIEMUSH was allowed to settle early, came five wide into the lane and had no rally.
